Hot 90 is bikram inspired yoga that originates in Hatha yoga.
At hot 90 Yoga, you practice yoga in a room that is heated to 40 degrees and with a high humidity. The high temperature stimulates the sweating mechanism, increases blood flow in the body and helps to flex muscles, tendons and ligaments and thus counteract injuries.
The benefit of the Hot 90 is that you strengthen the whole body, reduce stress and provide increased energy and focus. This means that you reach deeper into the body and thus increase the effect of yoga. In addition, the heat opens the pores of the skin and helps the body excrete waste products. The first few times, the high temperature may seem uncomfortable to most people, but after a while, the body gets used to it, and then most people actually do not feel that it is that bad.
Anyone can take Hot 90, but it is not recommended for pregnant women or for people with extremely high blood pressure who are not being treated.
